  • Re: The Dopeys' UE Diary

    MBNA Mrs D CC
received a serious LBA from the same local solicitors as they sent it to the last time
however they are well aware that I have a letter from the OC admitting no documents as they wrote last year admitting as much

so sending it all again with a little more acid this time, thick? doesn't even cover it.

had an arrogant reply from these thick solicitors, basically "ah we forgot that the OC couldn't find any paperwork"

interesting line at the end of the letter says basically, "anything we write here can't be construed as the truth, we're only saying this because someone else told us to"

      ethics? couldn't even spell it.

this mob will try anything, sent a dubious pile of statements of accounts, but only since the default and they now assume that this is a complete CCA, think I will send off a
http://www.all-about-debt.co.uk/old/...o-cca-received and see if that sees them off back down to the dungeon to see if they can find some more shyte to spend money on sending, numpties

MrsDs Lloyds has been sold to Lowells, another swid on it's way, might actually have an admitting no CCA letter for this one, it's been so long I can't actually remember, will check and respond appropriately (in a reasonably polite way of course)

Thats unfortunate Mrs D. Assume the previous DCAs ran into a brick wall and sold them off to some new mugs to try it on.

Luckily for you we've got about 365 different template letters you can send to keep them at arms length till then I'm two years to SB.

I've recently had a couple of debts surface after over a year of silence. One of them was an old MBNA where I got an SD set aside by the previous debt purchaser who's sold it on and the new owner has started to chase me

It's as if they never give up hounding you. Somebody once said that the database flags you up in the last year before SB so that they have one final push at getting their money while they still can.

I honestly think lloyds had "mislaid" these because they were like lunatics in the beginning, ithey went through loads of DCAs and i've got about six copies of the famous "we are looking for the original paperwork but in the meantime we are sending a load of rubbish with no t&cs which of course we consider to be absolutely enforceable"..heigh ho onward and upward

MrsD, I think Lloyds must have been having a clear out of old accounts, Having heard nothing from them in a very long time I've just had word that they have sold my visa card account to Marlin.

So the "Merry Go Round" begins again, A little less than two years before this one is SB.
