        Hi Right-a-wrong. yes had the introduction letter quite short and (hopeful) i might phone them. Nah. get lots of phone calls which the blocker deals with. if they change the number i just block that as well All normal bull so far.

                Good plan - keeping quiet about your s77-79 CCA Request for the moment since you say there's no threat of legal action from Cabot

                I need to read back through your thread to see whether NCO were the 'agent' for Cabot when that s77-79 CCA Request was made.

                Can you clarify if the debt owner is Cabot Financial Ltd or Cabot Financial (UK) Ltd? It matters.

                      I can see that you sent a s77-79 CCA Request to NCO not Cabot (the debt owner) in July 2016.

                      It seems you’ve not had any acknowledgement from either of them. Is that correct?

                          I asked because you sent your s 77-79 CCA Request to a Debt Collection Agent (NCO) not the debt owner (Cabot) so they could argue that they (Cabot) have never received it. It is unusual for Cabot not to send an acknowledgment of a CCA Request but maybe there was a reason.

                          S 77-79 CCA makes the debt owner responsible for compliance (it's their statutory duty).

                          I assume that you've kept evidence that you sent it to NCO?

                          Don't send another one at this stage though.

                            Hi Diana. yes i sent the cca Request to NCO 27/7/2016. It was signed for on 28/7/2016 And the proof of delivery was printed off and stored in the file. Then no more from NCO. Thanks for looking in Diana much appreciated
