            On 27th July 2016 you sent a s 77-79 CCA Request to NCO (a Debt Collection Agency) not to Cabot (the debt owner).

            You've had no response whatsoever from NCO (the DCA) nor from Cabot (the debt owner) to that request - not even an acknowledgement.

            Is that right?

            I'm trying to establish whether Cabot could argue that they were never sent a CCA Request (it may depend on when NCO ceased to be their 'agent').

              Hi Diana Thanks for looking in. much appreciated. i sent the request to NCO 27/july/2016 it was signed for on delivery. However no Acknowledgement from them regarding receiving it Got an almost inaudible message left on my answerfone from them asking that i phone them regarding a personal matter. And thats all from them since. Got a statement of account lender claiming to be cabot europe 31/july/2016. thats all. next letter again statement of account cabot europe.31/july/2017. Then nothing till 16/feb 2018 Welcome to cabot. lender cabot Financial uk ltd. we have asked NCO To return your account so you get best service blah blah No Acknowledgement from them either regarding the request. still all quiet regarding Acknowledgement

                Okay, so there's no ambiguity that NCO were acting as agents for Cabot when you sent your CCA Request. If it becomes an issue you can always send another one direct to Cabot but don't do that yet.

                    Yes going to hold off sending request to cabot for as long as is possible. hopefully if and when i have to send one they will waste another 18-19 months or so. Thanks again Diana for looking in.

                          as mine is UE and SB , i will be ignoring the missive and filing it.
                          I could put them out of their misery but I like to think I ame keeping someone in employment.
