  • Default notice question re missing reverse

I know the regulations on default notices are pretty strict and that a notice must be absolutely fool proof and clear.
I have an egg notice which tells you to please turn over at the bottom but there is nothing on the reverse and what should be on the reverse is on a seperate page.
My theory is surely if I had page 1 of the default and said I had only ever received that, then the default would be defective as a lot of the required info would be on the missing reverse, there own page 1 even says there should be a reverse.
Does my logic make any sense?

They are automated - humans don't see them thus some do get an extra page whilst others do get a page less.

The key is the rules, it's simple to remedy a bad DN unless they've terminated in the back of a bad DN.

I'd not worry too much about this. Yea, too much thinking isn't always a good thing as banks have reverse logic - am sure it's just to confuse us

just keep it nicely filed, and if you need it its there

no point in telling them just now cos then they would have an opportunity to correct it.................

Ive had a pack off egg which included months statements, a termination letter and a letting me know their agents will be in touch shortly. Moorcroft have written asking for the full balance so I presume the accounts pretty dead and its to late for them to fix it now.

I have to say that every single creditor screwed up somehow. Opus seem to of completely lost me after the move from CITI. No default, termation infact I dont even think they ever wrote and that must be the best part of a year since the move.
Infact I think its time for a credit report.
