Apparently it has been down for about 2 months and this has been holding up loan applications as banks haven't been able to searchit

A small update..

Individual Insolvency Register Search

The ability to search the electronic Individual Insolvency Register (eIIR) has been temporarily withdrawn.
In the meantime if you wish to make a search of the Insolvency Register you can call the Insolvency Enquiry Line (IEL) Monday to Friday on 0845 602 9848 between the hours of 8am – 5pm. This telephone facility will enable you to conduct individual insolvency checks. Alternatively, you may visit any one of our Official Receiver offices to request a search. Address details for each office can be found on this website under ‘Our Offices’.

We are continuing to work to reinstate the eIIR as a matter of priority.

A small thing to bear in mind though....if your waiting for confirmation of discharge then give your OR office a call they may be able to send you something in writing while you wait for the IS register to come back online
