    'Account Information' details no longer listed???

    Hi,

    In my 'Account Information' on my CerditExpert account some of my old defaulted accounts are no longer showing? The creditors are HSBC and Cahoot (Santander)? The Cahoot account has not been visible on there for a couple of years now (even though I owe them in excess of £10,000 and not had any correspondence regarding the debt for years?), I have just logged in to see my two HSBC accounts are no longer listed? Any ideas???

    Are they over 6 years since last payment or reporting on CRA

      Not that I was aware of?

      I have found the Santander account on Equifax however!

        I had this happen to me recently with a Lowell Account. They sold it to Provident and Lowell removed the entry from my file - It was over 6 months later that Provident put it back on there again with the sate dates etc. I have in the past had accounts drop off and no re-appear and it has always been when they have been sold on. Hopefully this is of some use to you and hopefully yours wont come back!

          Its re-appeared. Been sold to MKDP LLP.

            Yea sometimes the lender removes the account if they assign it, the dca will then take over the reporting.

            Avoid getting your credit report. It's like blood to a shark!/glowing beacon to DCA's!

              I don't quite understand? Do DCAs see when I checked my report last/how often?

                No they don't. The CRA sell your data now as do DVLA etc!!

                when you search your record the CRA has been known to let your creditors know

                  MKDP LLP have a tendancy to issue court proceedings so be wary

                    Thanks for the heads up. We are on good terms at the moment and in an agreement to pay a fixed amount monthly.
