  • A Notice of Correction..

    Guys,
is it worth do you think to add a notice of correction to credit report whilst the creditors are in dispute over CCA's (and will it have any positive effect at all?). lets say something within those lines:
    _______
Please note, the following companies have failed to comply with sections s.77-s.79 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (CCA1974) with regards to agreements shown on my profile:
    (e.g.)
    Barclays
    Santander,
    RBS
I would ask that all information added by these companies is not taken into account until this legal dispute is resolved.

A NoC is pre set text that cannot usually be altered and anyway, disputing CCA's (or unenforceability) does not give you right to keep a clean credit file - you will (guaranteed 100%) be defaulted which is the case since McGuffick v RBS judgment.

You need to read more me thinks...... you're fighting a losing battle continuing in this vein. If you attempt UE then you must appreciate you'll not get credit for at least 6yrs.

      Thanks NID,
Valid point. I have actually several defaults on there hence the idea of NC, but as you say it’s pointless.
