    Default and Termination notice

    Hi all
    Sorry for my confused question

If a default notice has been issued and subsequently the account is terminated, can it be argued to any effect at a later date if the creditor then agrees that a) the default amount was incorrect b) payment of the requested amount...

    Santander (Cahoot)

I called Santander today as I had an old loan with Cahoot, I just asked if i had taken PPI with that loan, they told me no I hadn't, there wouldn't be any chance that they told me a fibber (god forbid a bank lying to customers) would there? I can send them a SAR but to save a tenner I thought I would...

    Batfink's debt diary

    Hi all

  • Credit card defaulted without notice?

    Hi,
my OH and I have a credit card account with Sainsburys. We got into difficulties last year, and Sainsburys agreed to us paying £24 a month, no interest or fees. The arrangement came up for renewal, and we received a letter on the 23rd March confirming the new arrangement, also at £24...

    OH's Cahoot Flexiloan

Many years ago, when hair was less grey, there were fewer wrinkles and a lot less pounds, all and sundry were throwing money at us. One such company was Cahoot who gave a Flexiloan and credit card following an online application in 2002, copies of which will be reaching Niddy in the very near future.........

    Hopeful's UE Diary

I suppose my financial problems started around 11 years ago when I was made redundant from a steady job with a decent level of income. From that date it was always a bit of a struggle. Although I set up my own business, income was always sporadic. Previously to being made redundant, I had built up a...

    Any suggestions please?

Niddy kindly looked at my cahoot flexiloan last year and explained it is enforceable. It is now in default and solcs are demanding payment of the full amount to westcott ( santander agent ) or they may take court action within 7 days. (now gone past)
I phoned Santander Collections prior to the...

    DD question.

I REALLY should know this, but things might have changed. With a DD it used to be they would give you a date - ie 11/11 and it would be taken that date or possibly a couple of days after (usually if date is non working day)

On Cahoot website, for credit cards, it states the payment will...
