  • Hillesden Debt Surveillance Programme MBNA credit card

I had a credit card with MBNA with about £500 outstanding. I haven't paid since 2009 when MBNA refused to pay out on PPI claiming I had the "wrong kind of unemployment". I haven't made a PPI reclaim just put this one to the back of my mind.

    Account terminated

About 17 years ago I had a credit card with Associates, who morphed or were bought out by Citi. Some years ago I stopped paying Citi and requested a copy agreement - after some tooing-and-froing they admitted they could not supply an agreement, and duly sold the debt to Hillesdon. Hillesdon also confirm...

    Unenforceability/MBNA

    Hi,

I have been trying to see if a MBNA credit card bill is unenforceable. The amount is £5,500.49.

They have sold the debt onto a DCA and I have received many demands from them.
Recently they sent me a letter offering a £10 per month payment or 75% write off...

These clowns are the latest in a long line of DCA chasing a debt where the OC cannot provide a Copy of the contract for a loan they claim I took out in 2006.

I basically told them the account is unenforceable and strangely they've come back with McGuffick v RBS on enforceability. Stating...
