a lot of these scams on Autotrader as well! We nearly bought a great car that was with a student who was coming back to uk with it. OH loves Autotrader (Sadi I know) and discovered the same car photos etc but different description. We reported car and email address to everyone I could think of; I was told by HPi that this is now rife. If you are clever, do your research and play with registration numbers you can get away with blue murder!I'm an official AAD Moderator and also a volunteer, here to help make the forum run smoothly. Section 75 if he paid PayPal using credit card.
Ive messaged him on ebay and clarified his rights and pointed him here if he needs help.I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!
