    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for the welcome.

I have quite a bit of experience dealing with debt and I hope I can make a useful contribution to this site.

            Re: Welcome to GetSmart

I had quite a bit of debt, mainly credit cards, a laptop I bought on credit, utility bills and service charges from a previous address, a BT bill, etc. but all under control, most of them would be statute barred or just about. Had a partner who was forced to liquidate the company in 2004, also a few friends who overstretched themselves.

I also issued a County Court claim to someone who wouldn't pay me and swore not to pay, as soon as he saw the claim he put a cheque in the post, quite literally.
