        Thanks for the welcome, everyone.


        Although I'm completely new to the AAD forums I'm not new to the scene altogether. I was an active poster on the CAG for several months during 2009/10, when (IMHO) it was a million times better site than it is now. I was never formally banned, I just didn't like what was going on there and stopped posting.


        Over that time I made over 1,500 posts and put a lot of effort into trying to help people. I've decided to use the same user name and avatar here as I used there, because I see some of the people I knew there have also made it over here.


        I spent a lot of the Easter break reading threads, and it seems like there is the same type of spirit and attitude here that there was in the good times at the CAG. People used to help each other instead of judging, and that's what I'm seeing here as well.


        I look forward to contributing.

            Any area of expertise you fancy helping in, please feel free....

            I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

                Ah, cymruambyth, my dear old friend from a certain other site oh so long ago! I seem to remember we didn't quite see eye to eye on the Six Nations (shame I didn't see it this year, now I'll never know who won). I don't think Niddy would see eye to eye with either of us!

                I've been working bloody hard over the past two years since I gave up on the CAG, and I've managed to dig myself out of quite a few holes. I've still got a long way to go but life is not too bad at the moment. Thanks for asking.

                I've seen some of your threads on here and other forums, and I know you've had some completely unjust results. The way you've kept going through it all and still found time to post and try to help out other people really is a great credit to you. You've got my admiration and best wishes, that's for sure.

                I find life goes better with a song, so why not join in?
