On top of this please note, for those that are awaitng their winter fuel allowance, it has been cut to £200 PER HOUSEHOLD! from £250.

We found out this morning after it was unclear whether Mrs G had to make a claim for hers now that she is on pension. She had a "billy do" with all of her pension stuff last year which said that regardless of my entitlement to it anyway she would qualify as a separate entity this year.

I had £250 last year. She called the help line and was told that it will come automatically, no claim required but it had been reduced to £200 from the £250 AND I would lose my entitlement to it.

F******g Great eh?

Why did I ever bother to go to work and pay my taxes and contributions. obvioously being a total scrote now pays dividends and bonuses as well. Suppose I have to do my bit to keep the fat arses in Parliament in fiddled expenses.

My mum in law has just had her letter informing that payment is about to be made, hers said £300 she is 81 though so not sure if that changes things.
