I don't know what to say except read this new thread by an AAD member

    http://forums.all-about-debt.co.uk/s...l=1#post491284

We've got literally hundreds of threads (no exaggeration) on this forum which prove creditors and their agents (DCAs) bully people with mental health issues.

    So sad. So wrong.

      I couldn't agree more.
It's not just those with existing mental health problems either - the persistent harassment and bullying can tip anyone over the edge given time, actually precipitating mental illness.
They have no right to treat people that way. Don't get me started...

Re: New guidelines published on debt and mental health

I think there is a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the word "guidelines". They should be rules set to be followed, not wibbly-wobbly suggestions of what you could do if you want.

Without guidelines a tent falls down. If an industry does not follow guidelines they should fall foul of the law and suffer penalties.
