Hi All,

Niddy - I have got my CCA back from Grattan Catalogue dated 2nd Febraury 2012.

It says that basically, they are writing in response of my request and please find enclosed a reconstituted copy of your current agreement with us. This approach is consistent with the requirements of the CCA 1974, as amended.

Goes on about the account being in arrears and that EOS Solutions need to be contacted.

Basically, it says on the next 2 pages that they need a copy of the signed agreement and I need to sign the agreement (on the next page without my signature or anything but, someone has written my name and address) NOW, and return in the envelope provided!

I will email you it but again this looks UE.

The next letter I have just received says if I do not pay within 7 days their litigation team will seek alternative methods to ensure its paid. DOORSTEP VISITS, etc...

This is totally unenforceable as they never got a signed agreement in the past, they're trying to blag you - whatever you do do not sign anything you send these clowns as they will lift the siggy and drop it on an agreement.

They really are putting it nicely fools for not getting a signed agreement before they send goods.

Why do they do this? and more importantly why are they still doing this as niddy says there tough titties if they cant cover there own arse.

Thanks Boss. I would not sign anything like that. I know I am a dizzy blonde, but not that dizzy!

I have done the letters and will send today (when they open as its only 7.10am) lol

They are very cheeky but a lot of people would have signed that or their letters meaning they could copy it on to an agreement. I hope people are coming to the site and seeing all of these things and learn not to fall for their underhanded ways!

Completely agree with you. You would think that they would spend the time following the law instead of just rushing being greedy in trying to get people to buy things on credit and then charging them over the odds in interest.

I am not against paying debts but the one's that are fair (I dont think there are any LOL) not debts that have not been carefully executed. If they cant abide by the law then that's their own fault and I have no sympathy. Nor do I have sympathy for companies that take the p*** by charging over the odds, going back on agreements, insist on making your life a nightmare, especially when you have fallen on hard time for whatever reason, like illness, redundancy, etc or even if you haven't! You would have thought that they would have learnt by now! Silly Billy's!

Afternoon FP! Its about time you all got up. I have been on my own since 3am.... See, if I hadn't asked the BOSS for my big star I would never have got my 5 stars from you!

Well, today I got a call from Creation and there was actually someone at the other end of the phone this time. So, I put the phone in a hat that was on the table near me. After the social service lady came round (POP's help x) I had forgot about him in the hat. When I came to take the phone out and hang up I realise it was my mums hat and she had take it with her out in the car! That's how I got my name in my star!!!!
