You can do but why, if you're paying into it? I don't see the point of ignoring them.....

Robway - who have my lloyds amex card - they returned my £1 and on a compliments slip said:

"Please find enclosed your £1. We have requested the information you require and have sent you a separate letter explianing our process"

LOL, they're going to write back saying send it to the OC - however no need, package their letter (a photocopy) plus your original request and payment, together with one of these and send it straight back to them: CCA Reminder - Unenforceability Threat

All ready - do i need to wait for their reply? Or just post it today?

oh and BTW in relation to the 12 days - when does the clock start ticking - they receive or I post.

AND if i get no response do I just stop payment or notify stopping payment?

Just post it, that's what they're doing - they are sending a letter saying "please send your request to the OC" - something you do not need to do, as that template explains.

Ignore the 12+2 days - that's just a guideline, we would never take enforcement action against a lender/dca so don't rely on it, however for clarity if you sent on Monday - then after 2 weeks on Thursday, you can safely assume the time is up.

Regards cessation of payment, that is what I would do, but only you can decide if that's best for you...... I cannot possibly advise, however read other diaries for a more definitive viewpoint on this, ie most people cease payments.

                          Morning!

Now I sent all CCA requests and signed them digitally as mentioned.

                          Capquest have responded :

"our client requires that all written requests are signed by the account holder before they will process the request. Please sign and return your letter so we can forward your request onto our client"

                          Confused?!

                              Right....postie has been:

Cabot Financial (Cap One Credit Card & Egg Credit Card) - two identical responses - both returned £1 and stated that it is requesting the copy of the cca from their client and will update me if they do or don't have it.

Robinson Way (Lloyds Amex) - account on hold whilst we request a copy from the original lender (kept £1)

AIC - have requested the copy of the agreement from the original lender (kept £1).
