  • Getting Money from Court

Hi, don't know if this is the right place but .....
Had a court case, one court lost the defence, CCJ awarded then overturned when proof given etc. Case transferred to another court and thrown out as no t&cs. DJ suggested that original court should refund £40 application to have CCJ overturned.
Now we get to the crux of the matter....I have been communicating with the court to try and obtain this £40 (it is now very much a matter of principle) since Feb 2011. I am dealing with 'a team leader' and last week was told it had been posted.
Any suggestion how I can get this money?

It seems a bit odd that their cheque hasnt reached you yet? I suppose issuing a Money claim is out of the question?

I would be asking for s69 interest :

Now why would they laugh, I see no reason why a claim cannot be issued against the court manager.

Just to close this little saga, fortnightly phone calls [all logged with names] have resulted in a cheque being received ONE WHOLE YEAR after the first letter was sent. As I tell my family my nagging isn't all bad

I agree a whole year is wrong, but it became a matter of principle and I was not going to be defeated!

                Oh, that is a pity.

I was rather looking forward to you assigning the debt to experts such as MacKenzie Hall.

Not to work for you, they'd lose (leeds losers)

We'd want a half successful firm helping you so that'd mean erm, erm, erm..... I can't think of one.

Apologies for the oxy-moron, of course you cannot put successful & DCA in the same sentence can you
