  • Alessio Rastani Who's He?

Now until this morning I had never heard of this fellow.

I was watching BBC News and an article came on about him and an interview they had aired without properly checking his credentials.

He claims to be a Trader but apparently is not FSA approved.
He says he had dreamed about the recession and the chances it will give him to make money.

I must admit I thought he was a typical Colonial get rich quick type.

Then a short time ago I saw him on ITV the That Sunday Night Show.
He was telling them that the slump of the 1920's was good for a few people who new how to Milk Work the system.

One of the Commentators told him that what people needed were Real Jobs with Real Pay and Real Homes. Not Investment opportunities and second homes.

Have a look at him and see what you think LINKSorry, but this trader's banking confession was no prank | The Yes Men | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

I know I keep banging on about this, but until we begin to make things we can sell, Tangible things like Ships, Aircraft, Steel, Technology for good old hard cash then we will never get out of recession. OK so I know you will say Handy is living in Cloud Cuckoo Land, but the way some of the Dealers and Governments work you would do just as well sticking you life savings on one game of Roulette, after all are not Stocks and Shares a Rich Mans form of Gambling.

    Regards all, Handy

No Handy not in cloud cuckoo land, definitely not. I have been banging on about this for a long time and have been taken apart for it on other forums.

Plus in a way he is correct about the 1920s and the decade of disaster which followed and followed again by a global conflict. The real history books show that depression was a direct consequence of about 6 international "financiers" and "bankers" head by Joseph Kennedy using Wall Street as a private casino and corruptly buying their way out of trouble with the authorities. Then we had his son later as the most powerful man in the world. ????????????

First quarter 2011 figures. This country would have plunged directly into formal recession had it not been an unexpected 1.6% growth in manufacturing. Left to the "service" industries we would have been in total financial disaster AGAIN. My figures are taken from the Bank of England's own and their own criteria for thaose that wish to argue this point.

Oh and look at today's figures. Massage parlours spring to mind.
Watched people this weekend having to decide whether to buy a 50p item or the £1.50 item bit not both. Its shocking.

Well Garlock, I'm glad I'm not on my own in thinking that the Bankers have us all stitched up, and that people need real jobs for real wages.

We went to Morrisons last week for the first time since January.
What we put in the trolley was only half of what would have been a weekly shop a year ago, but at the till the cost was 1/3rd more.

It's got the hit the money men in their pockets before things will change.

I would thank your posts, but at the moment my thanks button seems to have gone AWOL.

          Regards, Handy
