Just watched the lunchtime news. The 3 men killed were part of a group protecting their homes and business's. It was a Hit and Run attack, the car did not stop.

It just gets crazy'er. I didn't know the health cuts meant leaving the asylum unlocked.

There was no mention on the report I watched if they had got anyone for the attack yet.

Did anyone see the report on the Magistrates courts, apparently in London only 1 person has been dealt with today, sentence 1 day in prison for stealing 2 T Shirts, released immediately because of the time he had spent in custody. All the others have been released on bail to appear in Crown Court because the Magistrates have not got the powers to deal adequately enough with them.

Another Home Goal for the justice system, I wonder how many of these chavs will wait around for the summons to be served.

There has to be enough empty Army Barracks (well all our Lads are Overseas at the moment) to hold them until the system sorts its self out.

    Regards all, Handy.

The best way of keeping out of trouble is to avoid it if at all possible.

If you think you are getting into a trouble spot, Drive Defensivly.

That is to say leave a car length between you and the car in front so you have room to manuever. Likewise try to time your approach to lights and junctions so you remain stationary for the least amount of time. Keep your doors locked and windows shut, and don't stop too close to the kerb.

If all else fails keep your car moving (slowly) don't panic but use the car to push the crowd out of the way, then when you are clear of obstruction Golf Lima Foxtrot till you are out of the trouble.

      Regards, Handy

      Thanks Handy

you don't need to tell me to keep me doors locked - you forget i drive through the ghetto every day hahahaha. i just do it out of habbit now everytime i get in the car

            Hi Handy,

I was chatting with big bruzz about it last night and he said that magistrates have had their powers trimmed and trimmed and trimmed over the years until their maximum powers relate to burglary and then they can only give a 6 month sentence. However the Crown Court has the power to lock the little buggers up for 10 years for looting.

Never mind them having the comfortable warm barracks that our lads normally use, how about the old hutted and spider camps we had to use in the sixties. There is an awful place in the middle of Salisbury Plain, barbed wire the lot (not Imber by the way) that was used by the Intelligence Corps for resistance to interrogation training. Miles from anywhere, bleak and forbidding is not strong enough. Set up an MCTC regime there and stuff 'em in there for at least two years. They will not want a second dose of that.

Then put in them in the Land Army as I suggested for the next five years. If they then cannot behave like decent human beings either deport them immediately to where they came from without any appeal or rid society of them altogether.

Most people who went to Borstal did not want a return to that.

            regards
            Garlok

I can give a good example here, my mate is from SA - driving home one night, he seen the first car overtake, then the second pull up behind with the third trying to get into the box position...... He manoeuvred and shot off down a side street - just avoiding the stop junction ahead.

Yep, you gott-it.... almost got carjacked.

Had he not been quick off the mark (and a brit in SA) I do think they'd have been carjacked and possibly killed that night - thus they returned to the UK sharpish....

Point is, until you're put in that position, we can all sit here and say don't do this, or even do do that - but as he says, he'd have died that night before letting them access his keys - BUT, would he really of?

For those that follow such crimes, its usual for you to get shot/killed/raped in such occurrences so think about it before saying "no, you'd just give up" - most wouldn't.....

Of course, why would you stop and get out when the alternative would be to put your foot down and plough them over? Sorry, rightly or wrongly if it is a case of give up or put up, I'd always put up.

Why the hell stop the car and get out to risk being harmed, if you plough through one of them, the rest will soon move - they'll think you're a crazy white bird or they'll think sod that - in any case, you can drive away, ring the police and formally report the fact that you panicked and ploughed into a group of ruffians that were out to carjack you.

Thats assuming they ever went to the police and tried to complain that they surrounded your car, to ask for directions of course

i think my natural instinct would be to put my foot down, rightly or wrongly, but i don't think you'd know how you'd react until in that situation x

                          Haha good advice Nid...

the trouble is my number plate is very easy to remember - so I would be bricking it that they would come after me...

My mate just said to me that I must be careful as she knows I am a gobby cow who can be ahem prone to road rage on the best of days....

To be honest I think it has calmed down here now......... fingers crossed and hopefully I won't be in a situation that my car would be surrounded.

In SA if is really bad isn't it? I've some some videos on police shows - they really are mad over there!

apparently in London only 1 person has been dealt with today, sentence 1 day in prison for stealing 2 T Shirts, released immediately because of the time he had spent in custody.
Whereas, in Georgian days, he would have been sentenced to be hanged if the goods stolen were worth more than a shilling; if he was lucky, he might have been transported to the colonies instead.

All the others have been released on bail to appear in Crown Court because the Magistrates have not got the powers to deal adequately enough with them.

Another Home Goal for the justice system,
                            Own goal, surely?

I wonder how many of these chavs will wait around for the summons to be served.
Rather than going out again tonight to steal even more?

There has to be enough empty Army Barracks (well all our Lads are Overseas at the moment) to hold them until the system sorts its self out.
Do you believe that army barracks would provide adequate - or adequately secure - accommodation for several hundred yobs?

Or, if one stops the car, there is a real risk that the mob might turn the car over and set fire to it - with the occupant(s) inside!
