Pensioner needs plumber advice
I have been given conflicting advice by two plumbers. I have an old and very reliable Potterton Kingfisher 2 gas boiler - positioned outside my house (ie not inside a room). I have had to replace the boiler flue and the plumber installed it in exactly the same position as the old asbestos one....

Fred Bassett's UE Diary
Background:
Got into serious debt - using one credit card to pay off another etc. etc. Couldn't tell wife early enough (afraid I thought it would cause marriage break up). When I did eventually tell, because I had to, it was too late, I was in deep doo doo. I'd reached that tipping point...Last edited by Fred Bassett; 14 August 2012, 17:35.

Reclaiming on packaged bank accounts
When we were with Lloyds, they had a habit of upgrading our bank account automatically.

I'm currently trying to sell my house, pay off the mortgage and then buy a house outright with the remainder of the proceeds.
