Hi Everyone

I am currently battling BH over my car. I was just looking at the copy of the DN when I wondered if the dates and times are correct.

The DN is dated 17th Oct (Weds) and it says that I must pay the arrears before 6th Nov (Tues). The DN was sent by 2nd class post....

Six or so weeks after making CCA request, the DCA has informed me that they have removed my account from their files and referred the matter back to the lender - no explanation.
I can only assume that they just can't get hold of the paper work (which would date back to the 80's) from the lender....

I would like some opinion on if these are legal

I do not have the envelopes and others may have been issued afterwards but these are what I have

What confuses me is this, I received a Default notice from MBNA, just as i expected , headed DN as...

This sounds like nonsense given the massive increase after 30 April -- 50p for 2nd class, 60p for 1st class and 95p fee for recorded.

However! I've had my calculator out and if you stock up as many stamps as you can afford now (and plenty of 2nd class in particular), it'll be 5p cheaper...

Sent a letter Recorded delivery and through the Post office track and trace it says if was received. How do I get A photocopy/scan of the Post Office proof of sending like a signature of who signed for it??

Just received a default notice from Nationwide credit card services.

It generously gives me 21 days from the date on the letter. The date on the letter being 28th October. It was received today, the 5th November. The tight arses sent it second class.
