Been getting letters from Lowestofthelowells about an old debt which I knew was now statute barred. Was before chrimbo and just ignored the letters. To be honest I couldn't even be bothered getting template, printing out etc. and posting so just gave them a call.

So if I have a debt with a company who is Capquest but CCS Collections send me a letter saying I have to pay them on behalf of Capquest who should I send actual payment to? -

A lot of searching has brought me here. I have received a letter from MBNA today saying they uphold my PPI claim and are going to refund me over £3000. It says a cheque will arrive within 28 days as full and final settlement.

After a 5 year battle over charges and interest applied to my credit card, the Bank has finally admitted it didn't provide the support it should have and have refunded over £1,000. Well, seeing as I defaulted on the CC and the bank sold it off to a DCA, the refund is going against the outstanding balance...but... -
