  • Should I send another fee for CCA request?

    Hello
Several months ago I sent off a cca request to a bank. It has gone round the departments, and now they claim no one pound fee was paid. I have a filled out copy of the PO concerned and know it was sent.
    Should I send another one?
    Advice welcome!

Credit Reference file clean up Post Bankruptcy

It's important to clean up your credit files after BR, this helps to stop your debt being sold to DCA's (some still do buy old debts as a job lot, so do be aware of this). A clean file will start to improve your credit rating, but bear in...

  • Stamp prices skyrocketing; stock up now & recorded letters'll cost LESS after 30 Apr than now

This sounds like nonsense given the massive increase after 30 April -- 50p for 2nd class, 60p for 1st class and 95p fee for recorded.

However! I've had my calculator out and if you stock up as many stamps as you can afford now (and plenty of 2nd class in particular), it'll be 5p cheaper

    MBNA

I started the CCA process with MBNA in May 2008, and recieved absolutely no response. I think I sent all 3 letters, but can't confirm this until I'm with my files at the weekend.

MBNA banked the £1 cheque against the outstanding credit card debt. They then subsequently (say mid 2009...
