  • Aktiv Kapital issue, advice possible?

Another issue I have is with Aktiv Kapital. They allegedly bought an MBNA CC debt. I have asked them four times now for the agreement involved and have had no joy in obtaining this. The last letter they sent just asked me to confirm my previous address and date I moved house to assist them with...

Hi, I'm new here and was hoping for some advice (I have a few different issues so will post separately and hope that's okay). Mr & Mrs Battendowns Battle

About time for me to start my diary for myself and Mr Battendown.
We're in a lot of credit card debt, in excess of £40,000.
We have a few CCJs between us.
We are in an arrangement with some of the credit cards, and haven't paid the rest for a few years.
    Most of the debts are...

  • Charging Order on an Unenforceable Debt?? Help/advice required.

    Hi,

A Charging Order was set against my home in late 2011 for the sum of approx 3K by HFO Capital for a Credit Card debt of £1600 (for a credit card which was allegedly taken out in 2002 and used up until early 2006).

  • Prescribed terms...again..

Been a while since I've touched base with this so maybe someone can tell me the 'latest' ?

Most s78 requests seem to arrive with a copy of the application form (aka an agreement) which often refers to terms 'overleaf'. However it seems when copying this document the OC's haven't bothered...

    Intelligent Finance loan PPI/Di30

Right, this will be a long shot as its from the early 2000's about 2002 or 2003, but I have details of each payment made each month and PPI.

However, the difference is the repayment of the ppi was separate to the loan, but despite that, there was no choice given and it was payable to Pinnacle,...
