          Probably what I will do with my intended weight loss - not lose it until the last minute! (If I manage to lose anything at all, that is - am feeling decidedly porky at the moment!)

                      Well, I was shocked at my weekly weigh-in!

                      Weighed 1lb less than last week - although my clothes don't feel like it. Guess it just proves how weight varies from week to week, or how much I had gained last week! Anyway, my target is still 8lb so nothing to boast about, really.

                      But, all the "naughties" have gone from the fridge - and I am definitely not buying any more! Am currently living in fruit, which is quite easy, given the hot weather and the fact that there is a lovely lot of fruit around at the moment - strawberries, raspberries, cherries, apricots, peaches - to name just a few.

                        it is strange, i never lost anything one week and my clothes fitted me better and i also looked slimmer , then another week i have lost a few pounds and not felt any different

                          Well, I'm glad it isn't just me!

                          And it is so annoying when you think you have a good week, and denied all sorts of temptation, to find out that you haven't lost a single ounce - or, worse still, put some on.

                          Still trying to work out a good time to weigh myself ....

                            lol i put the scales in different places on the kitchen floor and they are different all the time so i go with the lowest reading i am desperate : : :

                            i weight myself first thing in the morning before eating or drinking

                              Yes s2m as i have said before i weigh myself before I eat and drink and after I've been to the loo and not wearing any clothes! A bit of a horror movie but as you say every bit helps!

                                I haven't been on the diet for 2 or 3 weeks because of other things going on...I weigh the same but I feel, and look, fatter (more bloated.)
