Barclays, pays out on CPA cancelled over a month ago!?

So me and Barclays again! I give up with this bunch of idiots..

So as i detailed previously, i sent recorded mail to cancel all my CPAs with PDL sharks, and Barclays responded saying "we will ask to have them cancelled, but no promises" (i paraphrase but yea).

Nothing has happened on my account in over 30days, thought all was well.

Today in my email inbox i had an email from PaydayUK saying "thankyou for paying back your loan".. Which of course gave me a WTF moment as i hadnt paid them a penny. So i goes look at my Barclays account (i no longer using) and low and behold its an extra 500 overdrawn, on top the 200 overdrawn i am already disputing with the idiots!

So for an account thats and quote "NOT ALLOWED ANY CREDIT" good ol Barclays have paid out now on 2 cancelled CPAs and its now 700 overdrawn!

I am already in a major complaint against them (see my original topic) and now they pay out over a month after i told them to stop CPAs?

Now what, cant be assed to call there "call centre" as last time i did that just get some snotty nosed 20something thats just not interested and rinse and repeats nonesense down the phone.

Well, I would at least formally complain that this latest payment was unauthorised. The FOS will expect you to have done so despite the fact that you complained before..

Then go straight to the FOS if they do not agree to refund the payment as unauthorised immediately.

The trouble with the Fobbing Off Service is the way that it tends to be used as a career step for preferment in the City.

For example, look at the career to date of Johan Grefstat (link) - but he is far from being the only person at Bovill Ltd to have a regulatory background, as not a few others (link) formerly worked for the Fundamentally Supine Authority.
