Sour grapes ! John Charcoal the "expert" making up this story based on nothing but anecdotal evidence (i.e. no facts no evidence no proof) is one of the biggest independent mortgage brokers in the market and is losing business to estate agents who offer their services cheaper (allegedly).

I was actually told by an estate agent representative recently: "we will only sell this house to someone who has seen our mortgage advisor".

I don't see how that is in the sellers interest. If i had time i would have written to the seller of the house informing them this particular agent only had their own interests at heart.
