    That is hilarious. What dribble.

Heaven forbid that public opinion may be right for once? And that the politicians are actually not doing enough in the light of that?

Think there is a good proportion of the general public who wouldnt care if the banks fecked off.

It is right that the day to day bank you and me come in contact with is split from the casino banks of the city.

Good old stodgy retail banking isnt exciting enough for todays bright young things.

But when retail banking gets into trouble because the casino banking has quite frankly done something crazy is when us the joe public get hurt.

Think over time the banks have forgotton that they are sharks. But over time they have started to do to each other what they have been doing to the public for years. Shafting everyone they came in contact with. One day someone woke up to this fact and its all unravelled.

Bonus of only 70 to 80% of what it used to be. Great telling that to people who havnt had a pay rise in 5 years. Their greed knows no bounds.

Come on Politicos grow that pair. Its only just over 2 years till you want us again.

More Bread and Circuses. Every time some politician rattles his sabre at the banks. I think to myself, how many people think realise that the Government is reliant on the banks for the money to keep going. Its all a show, you cannot bite the hand that feeds you.

Besides just look at the Cv's of a lot on MP's or the register of members interests and see how many of them were or still are connected with Banks or other Financial Institutions.

Just look at the FSA, a fair few of the staff have worked for the big banks. The whole system is riddled with the Old Boys Network.

So much as the politicians will play to the public (more so the nearer we get to 2015) I for one won't be holding my breath to see major change in the UK Banking System.
