Unlikely to get tracked, any post goes to a PO Box as we are a bit remote for a Postman ! Any banking over there is handled by a Local Bank ....which may well be emptied when we go over and a UK Forex Account would be used ... but maybe not in my name

Sorry for delay, been over to check out our place in the sun before moving in over the next four months. Grapes harvested and being turned into wine by neighbours as we speak ....

Tax and Pensions are the only things left that would need ongoing contact ( via a totally new UK address )..... not that it really matters as it appears that only £600 out of the original £34,000 debts are enforceable anyway !

That would be within the context of using DCAs to collect unpaid tax, HMRC may well give your contact details to one of them DCAs if you owe them money, for the purpose of collecting that tax money but that wouldn't mean access to your full tax records. ---> http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/about/cap-cap-pilot.pdf

Yes, DVLA are a bit free with their information aren't they !

I can't seem to get a definitive answer about HMRC though. There is a list published that shows the DCA's that HMRC have/will use ( Fredricksons etc ) but I would have thought that Personal TAX Records should be sacrosanct. VAT would be different I presume.

Would be interesting to know.

They sent details of their offer anyway...
pay a regular amount off each month that would come to about £217 off the £1400 balance. They then would reduce it to £450 on a CC with a £495 limit and a 30% Interest Rate and I would have to do everything right or they would sting me for the lot!

Greeeat offer, not.... especially with their CCA/App Form!!

Disgraceful that they'd want you to get into more debt to pay this off ...and I bet they'll wonder why you haven't taken them up on their wonderful offer

Cheeky monkeys! Sounds like they want you to transfer a balance that's totally UE due to lack of agreement to a brand-new, post 2007, fully enforceable credit card they could then take you to court with!

I can see how many non-AAD members could easily fall for this one!

Weybridge Wazzocks reckon theres no prob with CCA cos Crapital One said so....oh well, another 60p down the drain to tell them why.....i.e it's only an Application !

Allied Int kept phoning, I kept ignoring, until they finally sent a letter saying that they have been 'assigned' the Barclaycard (£4500 with no CCA ). Sent them an 'explain the Term 'assign' letter'..... and also asked if they had only sent a letter ,after 14 days, as they couldn't get to me on the phone and reminded them of the various Guidelines etc and told them to keep off the phone due to unsocialble hours.
When they reply with an explanation about the 'assign', then I can address it properly...not that it matters as there is no CCA and I have the letter from Bcard that admits it.
AIC have a second one ( Universa ) thats only £700 and has a crap CCA with no PTs. Lets see if they write about that one too.
I feel an entertaining game coming on

After a six-month lull, Crapital One have sent the CC to the Weybridge Wankers ( Freds) .

Sent them a 'sold in dispute' with added chilli sauce referring them to the matter of ID and Crapquests and Crapital Ones serious breaches of the DPA and the fact that I would be firing up that Complaint again and would include them as they have obviously NOT taken care to ensure that I am me and that the Account is kosher ( which it isn't as no CCA)....unless they just knock it on the head.
