Re: Pepe2008 Heading for the Sun!

Update on Mint and Style (Universa ) Accounts.
I have App forms from both of them as a result of long ago CCA requests ( neither have any Prescribed Terms in the body of the Doc)

9/2/12 Triton say they are handling Style ( Universa). Ignore

22/2/12 Triton write twice. Firstly they are handling Mint Account. I'll ignore that until they send a chaser letter then I'll remind them of the refusal by Mint to comply with my ( more recent )CCA req due to lack of Signature, 3 times now!

Second letter is a chaser re Style ( Universa ), I send a 'why haven't you responded to my CCA req ?' letter. They'll have a job.....I haven't sent one, yet

    Drake Finance update
'29.2 In response to their recent letter giving me a Contact at the College to Complain to and saying that everything will be on hold whilst it is investigated I have written to the person concerned ( after a 10 day gap of course ) and asked them to confirm that they are the right person[/COLOR]'

    Slowly, slowly...

Whilst you seek to distance your Company’s position from Capital One by claiming that you were ‘acting in good faith based on the information provided’ this is clearly untrue as you, as usual, failed to investigate the provenance of the Account and blundered ahead ( again, as you usually do) by sending your usual threatening letters, couched in ‘concerned and helpful’ terminology but still, nevertheless, containing words designed to scare the unwary or vulnerable…such as ‘Personal visits by our doorstep collection agency’ and ‘Possible litigation’. Well I am quite sure that if I sent you a letter with the phrase that ‘I MAY visit your Office, and COULD tear your arm off and POSSIBLY beat you to death with it’ that would be regarded as threatening and could cause you to be afraid and wary of making an appointment with an unknown party. Is that clear?

It just sort of flowed from me, a bit like pus from a festering wound. Better check before sending though...

edit; it's to our friends at Crapquest ...
Hmmm, no reply to letter containing above phrase....and no sign of them having offered an apology to my Son and his Girlfriends Family for the 'distress' either.
Sent them a chaser letter giving them until 14th March at which point I will make Formal Complaint to OFT and FOS.

T Mobile confirmed wiping the Penalty and gave me a balance, I paid it ( £65 quid or so ), then they write back and say they had got it wrong, trying to blame me, and I owe another £41.

Moroncroft send me a Court Threat and behaved a little shocked when I phoned them and told them all about their idiot Client and invited them to give me a Court date there and then!
Sent them the correspondence bundle betwixt me and their Client ( T Mobile ), sent a nice letter to the idiot at T Mobile along with my Bill for unneccessary correspondence ( £400 ) and copied it to her ultimate Boss, the Director of Customer Services....all this for a disputed £41! Makes you wonder ....

oooh please do email me a copy

Have you read my crapquest complaint? I had a letter from a manager in 2009 saying they were sorry for hassling me etc then back end of last year they said this manager was wrong and they revoke her apology (in so many words) - I rung them and ripped into them, said I was from FOS as they refused to let me speak to a manager (yet when I said I was FOS they put me thru) - had my say and left it at that.

Then I hear they reported me to the FOS for impersonating one of them, I replied to the FOS and told them to tell Capquest to wind their necks in - there is no law preventing me from impersonating anyone so long as I declare the truth at the same time, which I clearly did (when I got the manager I told him who I was and said I lied cos otherwise they'd have refused to put me through and also challenged their ethics as we all know what they want to call me back for don't we? So they get my number!).....

Anyway, interesting read - to cut the story short, they were hassling me over two clearly SB debts and I just took the piss for a further 6 months, haven't told them yet that they were SB either

My FOS complaint is in the pipeline, hopefully next week I'll be reporting them myself.....

See thread here mate: ---> Niddy v CapQuest - allaboutFORUMS

I have a CCA for a Loan. The front of which is signed by me and the Co and has all the correct Terms does NOT mention anything about 'right to cancel' anywhere.
However, the Right to Cancel box is on the back of said Form ( I have the Original Carbon Copy btw ) where there is no information about me and No signatures.
Is this regarded as being OK as, I believe, the details of your Right to Cancel can be sent to you AFTER Signature?

Have received letter from Crapquest re Crapital One. 'We have been instructed blah blah ....H & L blah blah'....GOOD.
It is also for the Crapital 1 Acount that I have been involved in regular correspondence about with Crap 1 ( including the lack of an enforceable CCA!).
This just gives me more ammo re the contacts made above.
I do love it when a plan comes together.

Apart from that, zilch from anyone else and still sitting on the 'No signature on CCA request' reply that I have for RBS Mint, well they took 6 weeks to get that far.....so will I.
