That is what I would send, although it is not really suitable for Moroncrap as it has two and even three syllable words in it.

Another from NW stating that, as they have been unable to contact me, they have passed the account details to Direct Legal. Thirdly, I have received a letter from DLC saying the account has been referred to them by RBS and please pay up. All bog standard stuff. Suspect I just need to sit tight as it hasn't been assigned or anything......
Another letter from these clowns when I haven't replied to any of their previous efforts - the last one was three months ago! This one says their research shows I'm still living at my address and that they may visit me if they don't hear from me within the next 7 days. Think I'll sit this one out

Lo and behold, my letter replying to Horwich Farrelly has just been replied to by Robinson Way!!!!! They are going to make enquiries. Ahh, take your time and have a Christmas drink

I agree that sitting it out is the best course of action, with the only possible exception being if you were absolutely petrified of doorstep visits, in which case you might want to send an anti-doorstep visit template.

I would definitely ignore it. It is a pitiful effort after all this time. I wonder what they will come up with next?

Just looking at the letter tells me it is a pathetic attempt to intimidate. I'm not going to waste £1.50 on the postage.

What will be next? I'm intrigued to find out

Sent the Our Templates | Unenforceability Templates | Account Sold whilst in Dispute to Moorcroft regarding my account. They responded by telling me that I need to send a payment of £1.00 in order for their client to process my request. They are obviously unaware that Amex have sent me an agreement deemed by Niddy. I'm not about to enlighten them either. Normally I would just ignore but with it being I was just wondering whether I should send anything ?

I would just send them a short letter stating that they appear to be confussed. They have had a CCA request and failed to provide adequate Prescribed Terms. They have terefore not complied with your already paid for CCA request.

Yes, I was thinking along those lines myself. Only not quite sure what to send letter-wise. I was thinking, as I have got a couple of cards I am still paying as well as this one may turn back into a payable one, I've noticed at least one poster (I'm sure that there are more) have got the OCs to freeze the interest on their relevant account(s). Obviously this is favourable to not doing so as the balance simply aint going down very fast at all! I have had a look around for a letter to send to the OC but haven't come across one as yet. Is there one that is more subtle and likely to succeed than me going in and putting my size nine's in it?

                    Hi Billy,

There are a range of templates here:

                    http://www.all-about-debt.co.uk/temp...neral/menu.php

This may be the one you wan't

                    http://www.all-about-debt.co.uk/temp...general/t1.php

You can adapt the length that you want them to freeze interest or hold off.

Youme back if you need further assistance

Thanks for the info and sorry for not replying before now. I sent a short note to Moorcroft stating that I had applied for my CCA and that Amex haven't complied. They responded with a letter headed MONTHLY INSTALMENT OFFER and proceed to inform me that they are prepared to accept payments of £120 per month. They don't say for how long, though (not that I am considering taking them up on their kind offer) They also start the letter by saying "As we have not received any communication from you with regards to the outstanding account" when they have. One question that does spring to mind is that this is an account. They are not aware that it is otherwise why are they making offers like this

That just demonstrates how entirely useless this rabble is. I honestly think that they just program the threat machine to spew out the same rubbish to everyone, no matter what the circumstances. They know a percentage will bite, so they make their ill-gotten gains without ever having to think.

All the more encouragement to continue with a blagging course. There are few enemies more blind than those who choose not to try to see.

Sent the Threat of Litigation letter back in July last year. MKDP responded saying that they would liaise with the OC in order to resolve my query. They then wrote to me in November saying that they were still looking into my query, sorry for taking so long, . Now they have sent me a letter along with "the document that you have requested". Basically about 9 months of copy statements. They also state in their letter that a copy of the credit agreement has been requested and will be forwarded to me upon receipt. It'll be interesting to see what they send

My Amex account; a new crew have written to me now called midas credit services. It seems to me to be in the bog standard format. Anyone had any experience of them though?

Just the same mate, don't worry about them. I'd send the account sold template
