Congratulations, I hope they enjoy wasting their money sending you letters that are even more useless than those they sent in the last 6 years

nothing else to report on these UE Diaries anymore - think this is a read, digest and closed book now (case) ...............! waiting for another year and will close account with Equifax £2.99 charge for alerts every other month..............

              • Unsure if other people are starting to receive letters from Barclay Card recently on their UE Default accounts?? saying

'We're writing to tell you that you'll receive refund on your account' Following a recent review of operating our procedures we've identified that sone of our customers were charged interest incorrectly while they were on an agreed Repayment Plan.

Your account was one of those impacted and such some of the interest applied should not have been charged.

To address this we'll refund the amount interest which was incorrectly applied to the Account during the Repayment Plan period(s) (Basic Refund)

The total refund £xxx.xx (Refund Amount)

                The Next Steps

                .......blah blah blah

To do this, you'll need to provide your account details by visiting https://www.barclays.co.uk/help/remediation/orf within 30 days.....blah blah blah To access you'll need to use the following Reference Number (xxxxxxxxx) and Access Code (xxxxxxxx). Once accessed, you'll also find guidance on how to complete the form.

We'll then pay the Refund Amount to you within 30 days of receipt of your correctly completed form, if you like to discuss or need to talk to us.....blah blah blah........

They then throw in a FAQ page and says any Refund will pay towards the Account............

IF YOU WANT A COPY OF THIS, MORE THAN WILLING TO UPLOAD, IF YOU NOT SEEN ONE BEFORE -THIS IS THE 3RD LETTER THEY SENT ME

PS hope you ALL are good, other part of my family now has Cancer so last 2 years not been that good for many

                • Had nothing but refunds over the years from Barclaycard, this was dealt with by Niddy circa 2012. FOS declared it unenforceable but also said that it was still legally due, balance still showing on my credit file around £2000 although it does say account up to date. Only thing stopping me from having a perfect credit file. Not worried at all!
