      Update:

another letter from Wescot (waste not) - today -

Status: MBNA illegible CCA recieved 3x times from different creditors

Reminder: we wrote to you recently at address detailed above - but we appear to not have had received a response - out standing balance remain due, therefore contact us urgently. if we do not hear from you, we will continue to undertake phone activity calls, texting and lettering to recover of behalf of Arrow
would it be wise to send CCA Query - Account sold in CCA Dispute template? or CCA Final response or General UE? As i notice that there is more letter templates than we had before?

help and thank you in advance

I'm not sure which one of those four template letters you should send until I've had a read back through your thread to see the history.

Was Wescot one of the DCAs who sent an illegible CCA and did you tell them that at the time?

Their latest letter doesn't sound scary or threatening. In fact they're not sure they are even writing to you at the correct address. They have template letters just like we have template letters.

i have to have a look at old letters from them and mine (if it was illegible they had sent), as far as i recall i sent letter to wescot in 2011 sold whilst in dispute letter template when it was MBNA whom they were acting on behalf for them.

MBNA sold account to Arrow Global in 2012 . who has sent: ARC and Rosendale collections those letter were sold in dispute and illegible to read CCA agreements.

I also think MBNA sent me CCA Agreement which was also illegible too

              thanks PlanB

i moved address 2 years ago.........

In which case start the template letter cycle all over again from the beginning with the SWID one.

It sounds like this is Wescot's first contact with you since Arrow bought the debt. They'll have set up a new file for their client Arrow, not cross-referencing with the old one from 2011 when they contacted you on behalf of their client MBNA. This is a whole new chapter.

By the time you've worked your way through all the templates (again) it'll be a lot closer to SB

SWID? is that sold whilst in dispute? rather than request a CCA

I look at it this way.

You currently have a s.78 CCA request (from 2010/11) which hasn't been complied with, so keep telling that to each new chaser. Hence the SWID letter.

I tend to save a new CCA request for when things get a bit lively or threats of legal action because that should stop them in their tracks.

At the moment you have a set of illegible documents from your original CCA request which are probably unenforceable. If you send a new CCA request there's a risk that they may come up with a new or better set of documents. There's also the possibility that they won't come up with anything not even the illegible stuff, but it's a gamble.

I'm with nanna on this one - send the Sold in Dispute template and see what comes back.
