If they claim to be the legal owners, I would be sending them the sold while in dispute letter.

I got a Barclaycard recon through the post today (appears to be a 5th generation photocopy judging by the state of it).

Obviously someone at their place has found some random bits of paper and they have thought that by sending them out en-mass it might get some people paying.

Did you actually request this recon, or is this a case of Barclaycard sending it the show that they have an enforceable agreement? Whether or not they have!

Well, you could ignore them or write back to them stating that they must respond to your s78 as statute dictates. The Law states TOGETHER WITH, so in one response, the agreement, T&C's from inception, Current T&C's and statement of account. As an unsophisticated layperson, how am I to know when you have complied fully with CCA 1974 s78.

But only if you like poking people with a sharp stick
