Do you have online access to you Halifax account? If so you need to log on and remove your phone numbers. We have a free number you can put on there instead if you wish. It's a valid number, but it just allows them to leave a message which is then auto deleted.

Hi Shep, many thanks but yes I already changed them a while ago but they must have a copy of the original application form with the name of my employer on there and just looked up the phone number. Won't be a problem for much longer anyway as redundancy is getting closer by the day
