As Niddy has deemed this account to be UE I would be considering a one liner referring to your letter of the 19th. I have never had a Sainsbury's account (bank or card, supermarket has rip off prices for a start) but as far as I can ascertain the card business and banking is all underwritten by the biggest crooks of the lot Barclays. Hence all business you have to deal with concerning Sainsbury's will follow pretty closely that of Barclaycard's behaviour. Wescots next port of call before returning the thing to Sainsbury's will a try on with their tame solicitors letter head for rent Nelson Guest.

I have often thought of telling them follow the line in the infamous Arkell v Pressdram case. (eff off)

Sainsbury's was HBOS. have you send the letter telling them that that they have previously admitted not having the signed agreement? I've fobbed everyone off from my Sainsbury's account with this.
