I have a CCJ from Cabot (pre AAD). Today I received a statement of account which includes a Notice of Arrears .....that shows you are behind with your repayments under your agreement.

i phoned them because I know that I am up to date. It turns out that this stems from my default in 2007! I have registered a complaint by phone which I will follow up by letter. Can I complain elsewhere or do I need to wait for their complaints procedure? Their phone operative apologised for the wording.

Yep sadly at this stage you must follow their complaints process. See what occurs - I can't see much happening mind you, sadly
I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

If you spot any spammers, AE's, abusive or libellous posts or anything else that just doesn't feel right then please report them to me as soon as you spot them at: webmaster@all-about-debt.co.uk

I know they won't do anything; it was just the phrasing that made me mad!

Surprise surprise they have done nothing wrong. Just for 'fun' I will escalate the complaint!

As an aside, Cabot have informed me that they have taken my account back from Morgans; shame they didn't do that before they got their CCJ!
