Just received P60 end of year tax certiificate from a pension company, £348.72 income and £69.60 tax taken away, pittance income then taxed on that, all these pensions were robbed by Brown & Co years ago so we have to pay twice.

Just been thru World War 111 it feels:-

In the car doing a 3 point turn in a turning area in the cul-de-sac, just starting to slowly reverse and complete turn and Bang, a woman from a back entrance of her Bungalow decides to not look and Reverse out of her patio/drive straight into the Back of my vehicle with her Suzuki 4X4, TOW Hitch caused back end damage to my vehicle, take her name etc, report incident to Tesco Insurance o.k., Albany assistance for Tesco ring argue about a Hire car, I point out that panel hanging off could be tapped up but any damage underneath is a Question Mark, ( Not engineer) Number plate broken off, number plate light hanging down (electrics off just in case) as not electrician to test to see if safe?

well she lost her rag and stated will come back to you (I held on the line), she did they will sort Hire car out in the cirumstances, then on/on/on/on/on about if this/that the other/etc, then DVA 3 way conference call to check my licence it seems = okay! then on/on/on./on/ nearly 2 hours later, your wife as co driver will have to ring before she can drive hire car for conference call (Note:- her back aches after the mad jolt and is sleeping now after night shift) so I say O.K. (My head bumped the roof) headache.

Fleet car services ring, very helpful nothing is a problem just sort out wifes DVLA thing with Albany and she will be covered, try and deliver car soonest this afternoon for me.

Tesco and I agree that this time it probably be written off as little value-? all in all 9.50a...m. to 12.24p.m. telephone just for hire car.

God no wonder the Car Insurance prices are sky high, all the Insurance companies seem to hive out to claims management companies who are seeking high income on issues especially non fault claims, it is a scandal that Insurance companies are allowed to operate like it.

The FCA wants by 3rd May more evidence that my complaint against FSA - no action in regards Bank of Ireland and Mortgage Rate hipe? (help)!! They state that they will look at it as "Lack of Care" on the part of the FSA.

treating complaint under " Transitional Arrangements" rather than "Main Scheme".

They will look into complaint on what has been supplied if no further info sent to them by then, and regardless will write an update on 30th May 2013.

relates to the mortgage rate increases and in action by the FSA.

Insurance Companies duty of care comes to mind, they shout that reclaim culture by the people = the companies are showing that the reclaim grab as much as we can are the reclaim culture and the public victims again. Be honest make a claim even non fault one and "the addage is = we will help smooth the process without stress?" , god after that yesterday what a stressful experiance!

And low and behold the CO-OP closes down between 1-2 p.m. for lunch, so not able to contact them, meanwhile car gets delivered before 2.p.m., take further look at forums on Albany assistance and decide might be a good idea as was trying before to contact co-op and see if they wish to possible save cost on hire car, so ring the claims line saturday and guess what? open Monday to Friday only at certain times.

Thought you would enjoy this educational
                                moment.

Can you name this strange old tool?

Do you know what it is?

                                Tobacco Smoke Enema Kit (1750s – 1810s)

The tobacco enema was used to infuse
tobacco smoke into a patient’s rectum
for various medical purposes, but primarily
                                the resuscitation of drowning victims.

A rectal tube inserted into the anus was
connected to a fumigator and bellows that
forced the smoke into the rectum. The
warmth of the smoke was thought to
                                promote respiration. Doubts about the
credibility of tobacco enemas led to the
popular phrase “blowing smoke up your
                                arse.”

As you would expect, this odd tool is
still used by all levels of the government.
