    discharged bankrupt moving house

    we're moving house next week and my thoughts have turned to utilities (as you do!).

    i was discharged from br November 2010 so it's still on my credit file.

    i believe the gas and electric in the new place are with Npower. do you think i will have any issue getting the account set up? i wouldn't want to be the cause of the landlord getting meters fitted.

    NPower don't credit search you. It'll be fine.

        It's British Gas who do searches, most others do nothing or on occasion they may perform an unrecorded enquiry. In any case, you'll not have any problems.
