I have been self employed for 12 months, due to losing my full time job i was with for 20 years. i have 2 credit cards which total £500 per month and also an agrrement with 2 DCA's from when i was made redundant totalling £30 per month.
Work has gone none existent for the past 6 weeks...

I know this may be a weird one but its something i have noticed in the past with different banks and nowhere seems to have a direct answer to things like this.
Basically What time does your bank/s credit your account with either wages or benefits?

Beware of online shopping
I find that if I do my weekly grocery shopping online then I can usually limit what I buy, make sure I get more value etc. No temptation purchases and all that. In general this works well.

Late Payment for returned DD
Hi All
I just want to check if this is happening to anyone else, and if so with which banks. first direct recently started reporting returned direct debits to the credit reference agencies, marked as a late payment (1).

Problem with Natonwide Flexaccount
Going onto CCCS DMP in August so had to cease using my Nationwide Flexaccount. Before I did so I cancelled all direct debits, standing order etc and left it with an overdraft of £2.6k.
Got my latest statement and it shows no activity except for interest and 2 unpaid dd fees of £30 each...
