I know the oft ruled on credit card charges some time ago, was it 2006 ?
Anyway I know prior to that these charges could be pretty much anything the CC company wanted and I know so e were 25 or 30 and I guess some were much lower. However... -

Thought id let AAD'ers know of a recent first tier tribunal ruling that could potentially help sucessfully appealing against daily penalties for failing to submit a self assessment in time.
It should be said, that a first tier tribunal is not concrete and can be overruled in the future.... -

Unenforceable accounts and compound interest
Just thinking about this.
If an account is UE, the original creditor has obviously added interest to this, at compound rates. If it is unenforceable, they had no agreement to charge interest, or vary interest rates. They are reporting a false default amount to the credit reference agencies. In... -

Well the question is in the title really, a pal as asked me if his PPI payout will reset the SB clock on his almost five year old debt, it is in Scotland. All of the payout will be credited to the defaulted account.
