    Re: HSBC held overdrawn customer

"Judge Cronin said that if Miss Lewis had asked for damages for the wrongful imprisonment and telephone harassment she would have awarded her a further £1,500"

Why couldn't a Judge use their discretion and award this anyway? (Though I suspect I know the answer!)

"That crossed the threshold to the level of unlawful imprisonment," Judge Cronin added."

Then why hasn't the bank manager been arrested on criminal charges and been brought to account?!

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Not to mention that HSBC think its perfectly acceptable for a manager to investigate a complaint when that complaint has been made about them personally.

Hmmmmmm the CCTV footage has been deleted, wonder how that happened? Computer glitch - must be!

Why was HSBC's complaints procedure not been grilled? No respectable company anywhere would allow the person being complained about to adjudicate on the complaint against them.

What about an investigation into the missing CCTV footage? Hello security?!

There is so much about this that stinks it makes me fuming! (Can't you guess!)

That is also a question the commons has asked over the phone hacking scandle i.e why is the NOTW doing there own investigation.

Correct Niddy, I also have a hat called cynical. Plus SnV how can you put "reputable" and HSBC or any other bank for that matter in the same sentence?

Anyone had their free TIMES from WH SMITH today? headlines about judges, too male, too white, too elitist. Yet inside Lord Forkbender claims they are all honest decent people. What planet does he come from. well it ain't earth and it ain't Venus.

Can I have him in my lab for experiments in life and death? Aw go on!

I think that the current allegations haven't yet been made into a criminal investigations, which in turn may be due to the alleged cashflow from the NOTW to the constabulary.

Anyway, the longer it goes on the more time they have to bury evidence and put forward scapegoats.
