If you have a record of the postal order number I believe that you can trace whether it has been cashed.

Another thing as well with a postal order can you recall on keeping the stub on the left hand side to it? If so send them a copy of it as they may track it down, you need to tell them you already made that fee in order to get another SAR ordered.
Yes, all sent recorded delivery and I have the receipts, also have the signed reciepts from the post office website, think I will send those too and I have found out that you need to call royal mail to find out if it has been cashed and fill in a form if you need written evidence, so will do that too, just in case thats the next query!

Did you check on Track and Trace the the confirmation by putting in your recorded delivery tracking number in? they should have signed on delivery too, that should be enough evidence really to prove they had received your request.

Yes have the signed receipts, printed them today to send to them. Don't have the stub part though but hopefully what I have and can get from the post office will do the job! Do I reply to Wescot with the info or write to Natwest??

Check this here if you not had the chance to do so yet :-)

              http://www.royalmail.com/track-trace

Is proof comes up, then print it off, send them the copy that they received it and if you also check that the payment been debited as well to clarify this to Natwest, they can just continue with your request for ASAP, you should really have to wait the 40 calendar days all over again x

I believe Natwest, maybe one of the others will confirm on this as well.

Thanks, I was all geared up to send to Wescot but then thought maybe I should be communicating with Natwest, don't trust either of them but there is something about dealing with Wescot that makes me feel uncomfortable so unless it is the right thing to do I will send a letter with the copies and evidence direct to Natwest.

If this is regards your pm then send a copy of the letter from Natpest saying they cannot locate any data and send the copy to Wescot and suggest they deal with your complaint properly instead of lying and using underhand tactics.....

Thanks Niddy, I have written the following:

With reference to your letter dated 21 November, which was received on 26 November, please find enclosed a copy of one of the letters I received in response to my Subject Access Request from Natwest, confirming receipt of my letter and payment of the required fee.

The Subject Access Request letter was posted on 10 May 2013 and I have proof of posting and a copy of the signed proof of delivery from the post office.

As you can see their acknowledgement letter is dated 18 July 2013 which was already over the legislated 40 days.

Is this ok? Should I add anything else?

                      Thanks

Re: Natwest - can someone help me?

Going to post this letter tomorrow unless anyone thinks I should add/remove/amend anything. Just been reading another post where a letter was referred to about the debt being made up of mainly (if not all) charges and interest and the credit company passing it back to their client - is this something that it might be worth me doing??

                                Hi and Happy New Year!

I have come home tonight to a letter from Wescot stating: We refer to your recent communication regarding the above account; please find enclosed copy statements as requested.

Payment is now required etc etc.....

However, they have sent 2 A4 pages only showing the charges and interest charges, not full statements. The dates covered are from December 2008 to September 2013. The individual charges range from £1.50 to £192.00!

Can you tell me what I need to do now please?? Does this mean they have fulfilled their end of the bargain?

                                Thanks again for your help
