    Hmmm... Advice on the following would be interesting - direct from the article

    "Governments are currently prohibited from stopping a bank operating in the country while remaining subject to the host nation’s regulator. The court ruling means that host nations have no responsibility for foreign depositors in the event of a collapse."

    Does this apply to Iceland, or Europe as a whole - so would British Customers be protected if say, Santander were to crash. Or am I reading into it all too deeply.
