  • Re: BillyTommo's UE Diary

I guess you've got to look at it like this, you have asked, they have refused, you've gone to the trouble of getting official confirmation that they don't need a signature, they still won't budge.

You've kept intouch, answering their inane letters, they've been totally negative and obstructive, if they were stupid enough to take this to a court, who's going to look good and honest and trustworthy and who's going to look like a right eejit????

I was just thinking they say they require a signiture but dont say it has to be mine!!
      could be worth a try
I had thought about trying that and then it would be a laugh if they tried to send me a supposed CCA from ages ago with that signature on it I'll give it a bit of thought over the weekend.

FP, I think I'll just wait that one out as they say that they have passed the letter onto Triton so they have that to respond to. They can take their time, though

Yes thanks, Niddy. Due to all the help on here mostly. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this place. I'm in it deeper than most and it should be an encouragement to anyone new on here - if I can get to where I am then anyone can (I know I'm not out of the woods by a long chalk though!)

Robinson Way say they have noted my dispute/query and that they are looking into it and will let me know the outcome in due course. Oh, and they cease all collection activity in the meantime. Now isn't that kind of them

My NW account that has been due to the fact that they are, incorrectly, demanding my signature. I was still considering what, if anything, to send in response when I received a letter from NatWest stating that, as they have been unable to agree a suitable repayment with me, Shoosmiths will now be dealing with my account. Some of you will know that I have had dealings with this crowd before and they don't mess about. I would like to nip this one in the bud!

Thanks, I thought that would be the case. I know I should have replied to NW after their latest offering but to be honest I couldn't make up my mind which way to go. I'll wait for Shoosmiths to get in touch and I'll inform them of the facts. They ain't getting me again

It was Green&Co that wrote to me though - I was merely responding to that letter

They say that they have passed the letter on to Triton who will reply directly. I'll just sit tight then
I have had three letters in the last couple of weeks regarding my NW account deemed due to the fact that they have sent 4 sets of terms. One from NW stating that it was their final response and they do not consider the account to be in dispute. Another from NW stating that, as they have been unable to contact me, they have passed the account details to Direct Legal. Thirdly, I have received a letter from DLC saying the account has been referred to them by RBS and please pay up. All bog standard stuff. Suspect I just need to sit tight as it hasn't been assigned or anything......

My 100% Tesco account; Robinson Way have now forwarded a copy of my reconstituted agreement. The original response to my CCA request did not even have a signature on it. The latest offering has a page with my details and signature on it. I will email it to Niddy to have a look at

Shoosmiths have now replied to me stating that my account details have been passed to them to act as NWs solicitors and that they will be in contact in the next 7 days. What is the best thing to send this lot and put them back in their box?
