as so many of the other reprobates seem to send knowing they would not have a leg to stand on, if legal they would need to adhere to 7 days from receipt in as much as Recorded Signed for delivery! any DJ who would not allow this thesis is not fit for purpose as in most cases.

Thanks for the heads up. It's good to have little nuggets of info like this. Hopefully they are not needed, though

MKDP have replied informing me that they have liaised with Barclaycard who they say aren't aware of any dispute. They say that Barclaycard have responded to my request for a copy of the credit agreement and there hasn't been a further request since. It is as though they don't accept that the account is in dispute because they responded to my CCA request. I think I'll send them a short note to ask them to read the whole of the letter that I last sent

Absolutely standard reply from MKDP and Barclaycard, they will normally send you a copy of the reply from Barclaycard enclosing "Terms & Conditions" saying that they have complied with your request, but no copy of CCA regardless of what they say.

This account has now been sold on to Hoist Portfolio Holdings or Robinson Way. They say that I don't need to do anything and they will be in touch in due course. I think I'll wait for their next comms and then the SWID template will be winging it's way to them

^^^^ Sorry to sound daft but do you mean MKDP have sold the account to Hoist?

That's not their normal procedure so can you clarify the situation for us in case you're referring to another debt on your diary.

I had to check and I have it correct. It wouldn't be the first time I had got it wrong! The letter was a Notice of Assignment. I've just left it for the moment, see what they send next

Seems like MKDP are trying to offload ue accounts.

That's exactly what you should do in this situation.

Wait until the new "owner" of the debt writes to you.

                        Hi

Didn't Hoist Portfolio buy out Compello Group earlier this year, does this mean they'r assigning and selling their own property to themselves?

Niddy advises anyone who has received the letter that I have just done to post the following link in their thread:

I have had a couple of letters over the last few months, and also a phone call which I just terminated, all to do with my Cap 1 card which was deemed by Niddy back in 2011. It has now been sold on to Cabot Financial who have been attempting to communicate with me but I have just basically given them short shrift. I am considering sending them the SWID template and have it printed out ready to post. I will do so unless anyone has a better option .....
