Re: spent2much UE diary
In light of Paul's views on keeping a paper trail, I would send a one-liner saying that the account is in dispute.
Moorcroft gave up chasing me for my OD pretty quickly.Let your smile change the world but don't let the world change your smile

Re: spent2much UE diary
I would send them a one liner explaining that you haven't received either of the letters they mention and ask them to send them again.
It's strange that 2 letters have gone missingLet your smile change the world but don't let the world change your smile

Originally posted by Spent2much View PostHI Niddy, i'm a bit worried now because i sent 3 letters off to creditors and this one you mentioned about putting all 3 account numbers on and sending off in one letter is still going through the post office system, the reason i am worried is that fairfax are the tossers who played dirty last time when they secured a charge on our home by not acknowledging our cca request , they went straight for a forthwith and the charge, the other two letters which were posted on the same day have been delivered and signed for .
I find this very suspicious that fairfax haven't received this letter which i have proof of posting .
Any suggestions please as i don't want them getting more charges on the house .
I was going to raise that as a discussion point on the forums, as it seems to me that paying the PO £1.55 per letter actually doesn't give you the service wanted, ie confirmation of delivery. I think the PO is falling down on this service and taking money for nowt in many cases.
