Crapquest have issued a false "deadline" of 17th April, so there is no hurry for the SWID letter. As long as you can get it sent some time during the week of April 14th - 20th, I wouldn't worry about it.

        Hiya ,
I have received a letter from wescot regarding a bank of Scotland account, they state that they have been contacted by their client and they're clients have provided me with all relevant documentation we now believe the dispute has been resolved and the full balance or an agreed monthly payment is required .

What would be my next best step ?
        Thank you,

          Hi

Did you get a cca for this?

I read back a couple of pages but couldn't find mention of it and don't have time to read right through the thread.

If you did, I would send Final Response - UE (CCA Received) - allaboutDEBT UK

If not, send one of the other Final Response templates (click on the Template drop down box)

Offering a discount without saying how much seems like a ruse to try to get you to phone them to find out. Or is that kind of trickery a bit too clever for Wasteclot? Either way, just letting this one go and waiting for the next one is definitely the right way to go.
