Hiya Nid,

It was a default notice with termination.

Can you confirm the dates on both please..... usually you get time to remedy the breach on the default notice PRIOR to them issuing a termination.... if they messed it up then the account is, ermmm, extinguished

I have sent you both letters, one I recieved in January and the statement of default and termination recieved in February.

I'd just wait and see what happens next, so they've terminated which is a good thing really...

I received a letter from HSBC today giving me 14 days to pay or May May May this and that in scary bold text.

I will file away and ignore as I have not been issued with a default yet.

After a quiet week or two, I received 2 letters Ref Crap One account.

1 from Debitas - Unless you call us immediately we MAY do this and we May do that, we MAY sell it on . This is your last chance to pay the debt, please do not put off calling us a moment longer. Ha Ha.

1 from Power2contact working on behalf of Debitas, Our client has been trying to contact you, ring this number immediately or we will send a resolution officer round. I had these people call round ref my BOS account. My wife answered the door said I wasnt in, and I have heard nothing since.

I think the tried and and trusted IGNORE THEM will do the trick.

Bank of Scotland eejits, I have the magic letter confirming UE. I have had hassle from Albion Collections ( Inhouse) , Then Power To contact eejits, Got letter today from Blair Oliver Scott ( In House ). Errrr yes I will ignore them.

Also the hassle has started from Santander ref Cahoot flexi Loan, nothing of a threatening nature just saying call us we are here to help etc. strangely I received a letter off them a couple of months back saying you have not paid for 5 months but its our fault because our system has not noticed, you dont have to pay the amounts you have missed but you need to start paying now or else we may may may may yawn,

I will ignore these as well until they come up with something worth responding to.

I've also had a few letters from Santander like you mention then yesterday I got this one #223 which I'm gonna ignore

BUT

as Niddy always says no two accounts are the same and each UE journey is different.

Cheers Oct we just have to keep plugging away until they chase us no more.

Funnily enough I got the UE letter of BOS early doors but the account was very old and they provided very little. I cant understand why they waste the postage. I dont like doing what I am doing but I have no choice, but I will get through it with my wifes support. Good Luck.

I recieved a letter today from HSBC this account is UE because they havn,t provided anything. It has been passed on to Metropolitan Collection services

It reads - Further to impending legal action against you, we have not had a response. your account has now been passed on to the muppets above. and we have told the credit reference agencies.

I know they are part of HSBC anyway so on the basis of that I will ignore them. these scare tactics are quite amusing now.
