With a debt in default, it would be relatively easy to give it a value as after 6 years it is statute barred. Quite why some never go to CCJ is beyond me.
But what about CCJs ? They have an indefinite life, so they must retain some intrinsic value.
I am coming round to the point where I cannot perhaps risk an old CCJ coming back to bite me in the rear so before I need to have it dealt with, I want to work out as best I can just what it might cost me to make it go away.
The original CCJ was for over £15k in 2008. No contact since 2004.
